2019年に設立10周年（とちょっと）の記念にTable Music Meetingとのコラボレーションアルバム”come wind come rain”をリリースしてから、早4年。Wool Stringsとしても2年ぶりのリリースとなる本作は、再び旧友Table Music Meetingとの共作になりました。It has been four years since 2019, when we released “come wind come rain,” a collaboration album with Table Music Meeting, to mark our (just over) tenth anniversary. This release, Wool Strings' first in two years, is once again a collaboration with our old friends Table Music Meeting.

ちょうど”come wind come rain”がレコーディングされた2018年に、メモ的に録音されていた本作のデモ音源が発掘されたのをきっかけとして、2023年7月に実に5年ぶりに集まった4名によって”星めぐりの船”は制作されました。Prompted by the discovery of a demo of this piece, recorded as a rough memo in 2018, the very year “come wind come rain” was recorded, “Hoshimeguri no Fune” was made in July 2023 by the four of us, gathered together for the first time in five years. そういった意味では”come wind come rain”と地続きとなる本作の、3分間に凝縮された音世界を楽しんでいただければ幸いです。今回もアートワークはTable Music Meetingの石原敏行が担当しています。In that sense this work is a direct continuation of “come wind come rain,” and we hope you enjoy its sound world condensed into three minutes.
