2008年にリリースされた初期の２枚のEP「the tree gate EP」「picture in the night」
（両タイトルともに廃盤）に未発表曲５曲を追加した、 最初期Wool Stringsの集大成的なコンピレーションアルバム。
その後もライブで頻繁に演奏されている曲を数多く収録しています。A compilation that is the culmination of the earliest Wool Strings, combining the two early EPs released in 2008, “the tree gate EP” and “picture in the night” (both out of print), with five unreleased songs.
It includes many songs that have been played frequently at live shows ever since.
